Scrapbooking Pictures
Summer is full of fun memories, and a perfect time to take pictures! Here are a few tips that will help you take better pictures.
  1. Take pictures with your loved ones in them; it makes them more interesting. If you are taking pictures of the scenery on a vacation add some of your companions to the snap shot. They don't have to be in the center of the picture, just have them standing to the side. The middle is not always the best place for your subject. This will give the picture more meaning in years to come.
  2. When taking pictures try to get your camera at their level.
  3. Don't be afraid to tell people where to stand, sit, etc. It looks better when you prepare the picture instead of randomly taking shots of your surroundings. Add a prop or two as well.
  4. Create a good background. Pay attention to what is behind the person you are taking a picture of.
  5. Be aware of where the sun or light is coming from. Move you are the subject to a better location if needs be.
  6. Remember to use your camera vertical and horizontal. This helps give variety to your pages and point of view.
